Contract extension? Hradecky: It was really good conversations

Dinner is served. For the farewell of managing director Rudi Völler. And with the already established third place in the table, which Bayer 04 guarantees the qualification for the Champions League. In the BayArena, the celebration is announced for the game against the fifth in the table from Freiburg, who is still fighting in the long -duel with the fourth RB Leipzig to move into the premier class.

According to Hradecky in Leipzig, nobody needs to fear that the Werkself could no longer be fed up against Freiburg. “We are aware of our responsibility for the competition. We want to win – of course for Rudi,” explains the captain and goalkeeper before the farewell to Völlers, who will no longer work in the operational business as a club ambassador and member of the partner committee from summer will.

64 points is a good goal. I don’t know if I have already achieved such an yield.

Lukas Hradecky

Before that, the 62-year-old will still have the contract extension with Hradecky. “It was really good conversations,” says the goalkeeper about the contract negotiations. An enforcement report, even before the Bayer professionals go on vacation after the Mexico trip (May 15th to 20th), would not be a surprise.

On Saturday, apart from Völler’s farewell, it is also about personal records. “We want to get the fourth win in series. 64 points is a good goal. I don’t know if I have already achieved such an yield,” says Hradecky, “and Patrik also wants to score his goals…”

Patrik Schick met a total of 26 missions in this Bundesliga season. If the Czech succeeds in another goal, he would hire the club record of the current assistant to Stefan Kießling from the 2012/2013 season. If the Czech hits twice, it is the sole record holder. What Hradecky lets with the hope of an all -round harmonious day will come to the conclusion: “It would be best if Patrik also comes to 25 goals…”

Klopp's Contract Extension Hint?
Which, however, should not mean that the Finn would not treat the current goal scorer to the sole record. He praises its outstanding meaning for the team. “Patrik played an extraordinarily good season. Without his goals, we would not have come to the Champions League.”

On Saturday there should be the big celebration with the fans and a rushing farewell to Völler. Large emotions and one or the other tears should be guaranteed.
